Specialty coffee roasted in the heart of Braddon. We source, roast, and brew for those who believe the morning deserves more than ordinary.
Barrio Collective Coffee was born from a shared obsession — three Canberra locals who grew tired of watching great coffee pass the capital by. We set up our roastery on Lonsdale Street, in the middle of Braddon's thriving food and design precinct, and never looked back.
Today we source single-origin beans through direct relationships with farms across Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and East Timor. Each lot is roasted in small batches on our vintage Probat, tasted daily, and served the way it deserves — with patience and genuine curiosity.
We believe great coffee belongs to Canberra as much as it belongs to Melbourne. Whether you're a public servant on a 7am meeting run, or a creative killing time between briefs at the local studios, our door is open and the kettle is always on.
Beans roasted at Dairy Road. Pantry staples made in-house. Everything we sell, we stand behind.
Product photography available — ask us about upgrading this section with professional imagery of every item.
We're settled in the middle of Braddon's food and design precinct — a short walk from Civic, the Canberra Centre, and the ever-growing network of studios and galleries that make this neighbourhood worth lingering in. The space is small, deliberately unhurried, and warm. No screens on the walls, no playlist drama — just honest coffee and the quiet hum of the roaster next door.
